Q 24. Is there something called Destiny or do we make our own destiny?

My Musings. I fully endorse the views articulated by Paul Coelho in his book..’The Alchemist’…..You work towards making your own destiny..You work and the whole world will conspire to fulfil your dreams.

The essence of the Bhagwat Gita is also the same - Choose your own destiny. Live life by choice.
This indeed is the right way to live. People who are successful are of two type - one who only make choices and do not believe in luck or destiny. For instance they may choose to work very hard to be successful.
The second type are those who owe their success to good luck or destiny but in fact have been making their choices in life. Maybe without being concious of it.

Those who are otherwise i.e. not successful, have not acted not made choices, and blame it on bad luck.
